What to do to take my mind off something

I'm thinking about many things lately, and I can't sleep. I'm also angry with someone and I want to forget about it. There are so many things to do but today I just want to sleep and relax. But I can't do this. What can you suggest for me to do?

These are the things that I do whenever there's something bothering me and something negative lingering in my mind and I have to do something to achieve peace of mind: I clean my room or sometimes the house, I jog around the village, I workout really hard, I play with cute little kittens. I suggest you should make yourself busy. When you feel exhausted or tired, you'll feel better.

There are many things that you can do in order to relax, but first of all you have to remember that no amount of worrying is going to make your problems go away, so it makes much more sense to allow yourself to relax and have a good night's sleep. You should try reading a book or listening to some of your favourite music to help to put yourself into a good mood before you try to sleep. If you don't think that this is going to work, having a warm/hot bath can also be relaxing, particularly if you use lavender oils in it, as these have medically proven relaxing properties. It might help you to speak to the person who you are angry with, too, as you might be able to resolve your differences which will put your mind at ease and allow you to sleep.

make sure the room is dark , and you are comfortable. listen to soothing meditation type music. concentrate on the music, & or your breathing. it may also help to drink some nice chamomile or peppermint tea a while before bed. you should be in dreamland easy!

I often have trouble sleeping also. I fall asleep easily at first, but if I wake up in the middle of the night, I can't get my thoughts quiet enough to fall back asleep. I agree about the exercise. Excercise is a good stress reliever and will definately help you sleep better. You may also try to confront the person you are angry with. Even if the outcome isn't what you want, it may help you get some closure so you can stop stressing about it.
