My first choice for a trip for a couple is Europe. Europe is famous for its romantic sights and ambiance. For me, Europe symbolizes romance and culture. I'd want to spend my honeymoon in Europe. A second choice for a trip for a couple is going to a nice and secluded beach getaway like Maldives. It would be the total relaxation and bonding.

If Southeast Asian region attracts you, then Thailand would be a nice country to visit. There are many very beautiful places a new couple can enjoy, depending on the interests and preferences. The people are so friendly, smiling all the time. The country is known as "Amazing Thailand", "Land of Smiles". Many interesting places to see in the City of Bangkok, historical, cultural, shopping, river cruises, and more. There are a number of beautiful beaches too, not far from Bangkok, to enjoy.

The Seychelles is the most romantic place in the world. It has amazing looking tropical islands and magical sunsets happen every evening. During the night time the stars sparkle. It is more beautiful than other beach destinations that I have been to.

I think it will pretty much depend on your budget, where you live and what do you consider as a romantic place.
I once had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas, we drove from where I live and stayed there for the weekend, it was just great, althoug the weather was kind'a hot and humid but regardless it is a fantastic place to be at.

If you're in Asia, there are a lot of places to consider. I would love to go to Hongkong, Thailand, Malaysia, Macau and Korea. But if you're aiming for Europe, then I would suggest Paris or Milan. Those two places are very romantic and would definitely give you timeless memories. I have yet to travel with my husband outside of our country. We've been married for 7 years and we haven't been even out of the country. It's a good thing that you're considering travelling with your loved one even if you're just a new couple. Best of luck on your travelling plans!
