If you aren't a professional Writer..

It comes out of practice. anything done regularly for forty days will become a routine thing for you subsequently. Many mylottians have had exposure in sharing information, idea, knowledge for considerable time. Here we are expected to narrate details so that it makes it an interesting thing. People from western countries are able to write very well because English is their medium of study., have a good day.

Though I do write articles routinely, I can only say that while on myLot one does not take perhaps the time to concentrate and or research as one would do for an article. So my thinking is that given the allotted time one can be a better writer then perhaps a poster. This is like saying that while we are among friends offline we perhaps are quick to discuss and not really emphasis our verbal skills. Yet for a presentation of some sort one has to take the time to research and prepare.

I was not born a writer either, but I am thankful to the wide platforms available online. These venues such as mylot have provided me the opportunity to enhance my writing skill. Earning from it would be a bonus.

not a professional writer but i would want to be... so this is my practice space for writing. i get my topics from my everyday surroundings be observant, be critical and be attentive to detail write your observations and remarks immediately on a piece of paper or record it on your voice recorder (cellphones have voice recorders) this will help you have ideas to toss around at night and you should be able to squeeze out a topic or two

Hi stylewaves, You're right. Not everyone here are professional writers or have English as their common language. Like me, I'm a Filipino who always wanted to be a writer but I'm not so good in English, but still I write. Well, if you ask about the topics I write, its more about some life statuses and personality development. I feel like I can read one's mind, so that's why I like to write topics about that.. But sometimes, I write random stuffs for the things I see everyday!

Hi stylewaves! Yes not all of us here is not a professional writer but i tell you as time goes by even you are not a professional writter you will be like them as well. MyLot is not just helping you to gain friends, money and information. But it also teaches us how to be a professional writter.

hi stylewaves and yet many are close to being professional writers and we work a lot on mylot and keep perfecting our craft until we do sound more professional.To get topics in an article form we can take classes on article writing or we can just practice until we finally get the results we want.Also there are some good books on writing articles that can help those who wish to write articles. Myself I prefer to write fiction.lol lol lol

As you write your posts, you practiced your English and polish your writing skills. This the first step to become a writer. Try to improve your posts and your grammar and you will be rewarded. Mylot is a good platform for this excercise.
