Now, everybody heard about postloop right. How we can make easy money there like a few dollars a day. So I said to myself, "Why don't I give myself a try?" So I try my luck and eventually got myself posting more than 10 post. I wait for approval. Then bump.. toaday i got an email from postloop rgarding my application. I got rejected. Why? I got decent lenght in all my post but my grammar are not up to their standard according to them.. And I said , "WHAT!". i don't know we need an almost perfect grammar to be in a forum... I guess I need to try again and this time I'll make sure my grammar is PERFECT.

Ok. I for one have not heard about postloop. Maybe bad for me Anyways, I have a childish response to your query as I am feeling kiddy right now. Sorry, if I sound insane. I think, this whole Grammar thing goes wrong once we start chatting via the IMs and Texting SMSs in the modern Internet Lingo or the SMS lingo. Not sure if you are much into this one or not, but if you are first thing that you should do is uninstall those applications. If you dont, these lingo will always keep playing on your mind and your grammar and spellings can go to anywhere they want but never in the right direction.

I agree with you that people's grammar, especially the younger generations, have gone straight down the tubes thanks to chatting via IMs and Texts! It's funny that you mention that because a few days ago a friend of mine was telling me how, now that they have to send business emails at their new job, they are constantly having to check over their work because they find themselves typing out emails as if they were texting or IMing a friend instead of a business colleague. I'm constantly doing both, texts on the phone and business emails, but thus far I haven't really run into any issues.

Wow seems you are lucky enough not to get affected Maybe the fact that English is not my primary language has a role to play too in making me more prone to the ills of Texting or IMing

I cannot agree more with both of you. All this things make our English getting worse. If the native English speaker can be affected, what to ssay for those not an Enhlish speaker. And even this abbreviation affected us as well. Luckily I'm not much into this abbreviation. I don't even know what 'LOL' mean, silly me.

Try your luck at suite101.com or Triond. Why post 10? Is that the initial requirement?

Abello, I've writing for triond already. no luck on suite 101 though. they feel my writing is not up to their standard. We had to make 10 post before our application for forum posting get reviewed. it is the requirement. Leonardo, I tried Suite 101 once but get rejected by them.

Perhaps you could ask them to rename their site to EnglishGrammar.com or PatheticExcuses.com. Last one would fit right in i guess! lol

You guys don't understand. I can tell you exactly why you didn't make it into postloop already, just from the title of your post. They don't have strict restrictions. They just need good posters and I can help you become one.

PatheticExcuse.com is a good name for them. Perfect grammar for forum is too much. Maybe they should put there in the term and condition, "Membership Only for English Grammar Teacher". By then they won't have a problem with grammar.

You're right about that dude! PatheticExcuses.com. LoL. that will really hit them hard.

Hi marcmm, At least you've heard from them. I've signed up last week with PostLoop but until now, there are no email notifications whether I passed or not. May I know how many days did they email you after you signed up? Thanks and good luck when trying it out again .

Hi snowdoll, Thanks for the reply. I have already registered at PostLoop portal. I have already made 10 posts as well. However, I did not receive any notification from them until now. And even when I check my status in PostLoop, I can't subscribe to forums yet because I'm not yet approved . That's why I'm curious as to how long others got their approval since the time they signed up. I'll just have to wait for a few more days.

manuba, I think you haven't subscribe the postloop portal forum yet. If you haven't subscribe, you won't see any point at your dashboard. To do that, you will have to go to the view forum tabs. Above the list of the forum, there are some notes that tell you what to do. And there you will see a subcribe link underline and coloured blue. I think item number 3 or 4. After you already subscribe, then you make 10 posts. By then you will see you already accumulate a point. By the time you have already make 10 post, you will receive an email and alert saying your application are under review. You just wait for the result in 24hrs. snowdoll, I think manubla not yet subscribe the forum and that is why he haven't get notification about it.

Wow! I've heard of postloop. I think I have an account with them. I'm not entirely sure about it. I haven't tried posting but with what you said, I guess, I need to be careful if I want to post anything there. I think mylot is still the best. Not too picky with the member and with the grammar. Anyway, you post/ discussion has really helped a lot for those who want to try postloop. With this, we know what to expect and how to be a apart of this site to earn good earnings. Good luck on your next try!

At first you need to participate and post at least 10 post at postloop portal forum. Once you get to 10 post, you are automatically review for your post. If you get approve, you are able to post in the forum listd in postloop. And then you can start to earn. If you get rejected, you can still post in the postloop portal forum but you will not get paid until you get approved. My 3rd time try, I get rejected again. I don't have any tricks left to get approve there.

Yeah, it's very difficult just to earn there. Even if we get approved, if we didn't have a good rating we also won't be paid. So, this site trying their best to squeeze everything they can from their members or their potential members and they try not to paid if they can. I just stop trying now. It's just not worth my time to keep trying there and later on get rejected again of not getting paid. Now I just try market swag. It pays like $0.02 per post and $0.04 per thread start. Payout at $2.00. I'm a few cents away from cash out but I just can't stop participate in MyLot.

That sounds pretty hard. I just wish I could get approved at postloop once I'd get to register in that site. Thanks for the tip. Just try it again and always hope for the best. Who knows? You might get approved this time. It seems quite a pretty strict site for posting on forums. I wonder what their criteria is.

I've got the same problem in that site. I've been a member for almost 2 weeks and I think there is still no progress. They say I must reply with a quality posts. I know that my grammar isn't that perfect but I know that my grammar isn't that bad also. I've got a rating of 2. They need a rating of 3 to be a member of postloop. I've tried so many times and I think I should stop because I'm just wasting my time. What a let down!!

It is just very difficult to get a good rating also. I only had 1.7 rating. Very frustrating for me. Like I say before, why and why they need a perfect grammar post. I guess many of us MyLotters want to abandoned the sites.

we need good grammar in everything we write or say please don't take it the wrong way, just elevate your standards to an acceptable level for them. substandard articles or posts often lead to degradation of educational learning for those who read your articles. it leads to worse and worse things

It is good to have a good grammar. But sometimes for us who seldomly use English either written or verbally, it is not that easy. And sometimes we even forget the simple words in English. If it is an article writing site, I can understand why we need a good grammar. But it is just a forum site. How many forums sites requires us to have a good grammar to earn points there? I said postloop is the first one.

That's amazing and sounds frightening. I can't see the point of having perfect grammar is posting opinions and thoughts. I think as long as you send through the message and people understood you, then it is successfully done. Maybe they have their own rules and who are we to disagree? We are just members trying to make their site popular and legit.

Yeah, you're right there. I can understand if the forum want their user making a good quality post and good grammar, but not very very good grammar. It is not article writing. Just a forum where we want to express our idea and do some discussion.

Some sites are very strict with grammatical and spelling errors. Punctuation also should be in correct style. Otherwise they will reject our postings. Most people think that they are very good in English. They are wrong. Most people make mistakes while they write. Actually we can't understand what our mistake is. Find out and join one of the best English Training School with high qualified and efficient teachers. This is the only way to write each sentence in correct grammar.

Many of us don't realise we're making mistakes, I agree with you. But just like I said, it is just a forum not an article writing. They don't have to be very critical about that. For article writing, I know it is essential we need to have good grammar and even almost perfect grammar. To find a good English teacher to teach us just so we can get point inside a forum, I don't think it is a very economical things to do.

Whoa, this is also my first time to hear about a good grammar for forum posting? (correct me if I'm wrong, but the word posting seems to be like a forum). Maybe I will try to search about it and join, then I will give it a try.

Yeah, it is my first also. I just cannot see the point for having a good grammar in a forum. How long does a post takes? 3 to 4 lines, that's all. So even if there are some error, nobody will care about it. What does this word forum you mean?

Then at the notes above the forum list, you will see all the steps you need to do. Then there you will see a subscribe link underline in blue colour. Then ckick it and fill in the neccessary particular like your user name in the postloop portal forum and the email you registered there. Good luck to you.

Hi Marc! I have also joined that site. I was happy at first because after doing more than 10 post I got accepted and got a rating of 3.6. I thought by then that I was lucky and I will be able to earn extra $ through that site, but the day after I got accepted, there comes a message saying "decision reversed". It says in the message that they've done a thorough review on my comments and notice that some of my post are grammatically wrong. Ouch! It really hits me. I decided not to take another try on that site. I'll rather stick with myLot!

Ouchh. That does hurts. When they rejected us, the said the decision are non reversable and final. But in your case, the decision of approve you get reverse and overturn and eventually rejected you. Why rejected only for some post grammatically wrong? I wonder how far can they go if this continues.

I think many of us not satisfied with this site and ready to abandon it. I know there are a few of mylotters are active there and even get paid, but now their requirement are very much strict. It make many of us discourage to join this site. I know I wouldn't care even to try anymore. Better stick with Mylot and concentrate on my writing at Triond.

I have only like 1.13 rating. but I'm yet to be approved so I didn't care that much. Now I just concentrate to get approved and to do that I need to get my grammar right. Maybe it is a high time we really need to improve our grammar.

Is postloop mostly target native English speakers? If so, they may not welcome us whose mother tongue is not English. Well I admit the fact that sometimes it may hard for native speakers to understand what we mean if we make some grammtical mistakes and in more extreme situation, misunderstanding might be caused. But as a second language learner, I do try my best to have perfect grammar and I proof-read and do self-correction before I press the "post response" button. This is probably the thing we can only do. Cheers

I'm not quite sure about that. But they said international members are welcome. So I assume that they know what they should expect from international members especially those that are not good in Engish. You are right, we always try our best to have perfect grammar. But there are just something we are not taught properly even in the school. And your user name make me very hungry.
