unwanted notfications

i've been receiving notifications in my email that my friends' are starting discussions... i just want to know how i could stop these notifications... thanks. :)

Yes you change all or some of the myLot notifications in your preference tab above or go here:
http://www.mylot.com/nr/editNotifications.aspx
Keep in mind that any deletions will still go to your mailbox, as those we cannot avoid. If you do not have many then you will not see any or maybe some.
If you only want to get some notifications from friends you can turn off each in your friend list and or keep only those you want. This cannot be done all with one button but they have to be done individually.

I do not understand why you would want to stop being notified when friends post. Right now I checked my email and got a notification that you posted a new discussion. Why would I want to stop this from happening for friends. I don't understand, can you clarify please?

I subscribe to your view. probably she gets more mails because she has more number of friends. Even then it is worth going through that when we get time, delete the unwanted ones. have a good day.

go to preferences and uncheck the things you checked about notivications also you can do it one be one in your list of my my lot friendsx.
bpth ways will work. I like working out of myemail my self.

Well, I guess you already know how to stop those notifications as the other myLotters have given definitive responses. But I also wonder why you want to stop these notifications. It is a very helpful feature since it gives you ample ideas on the topics currently being posted without opening your myLot account. You can just scroll through those notifications and easily delete them from your inbox if the topics your friends have posted do not interest you :)
