Have you ever been to Texas?

I have lived in Texas all my life, and I think I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. You gotta love the heat waves and all the mosquitoes... And twice a year we even get what most people here call love bugs. They don't bite or sting. All they do is fly around and mate, hence the name "love bugs."

I have visited Texas. It is a large hot state for sure. In Florida, we had those large mosquitos and love bugs too. Yukie and double yukie. I'm allergic to the mos. and would swell up like a balloon. The love bugs ruin your cars. They only life for 2 weeks, and are attatched the whole time. Did you know that? Why do you love Texas so much?

My sister lives in Weatherford, TX and we finally got out there in May for her youngest son's graduation. It reminds me a lot of FL with the love bugs and mosquitos, but I can't say it was any hotter there than it was here. I'm just glad we weren't out there in the winter because it sure gets colder there than it does here in South FL. Those love bugs can be hard to scrape off your car, too.
