Do you use the cart recepticals in the parking lots of stores?

I admitt I don't most of the time. It makes my husband upset. Tell the truth, do you use them or just leave them in front of your car?

Either my husband or I will usually take them to the cart receptacle in the parking lot. It's very seldom that one of us just leaves it by the car. When we went shopping last weekend, it was nice to find a cart right by our car. I knew when we got inside there wouldn't be any available, and I was right. But there's no receptacle in the lot where we were, so people just leave them all over the lot.

I always put my cart back. I find it annoying that people dont.

If it isn't raining I will walk the cart back. The exception to this rule is when I am at Aldi's. You pay a quarter to use the cart and I want my quarter back. The only way to get it back is to walk back to the store front with it and lock it into the next cart, thus pushing out your quarter so you can retrieve it. If all stores did this I know that I would be more likely to return them to the cart holders.

I don't always feel comfortable leaving my young children unattended in the car to go put it up.

This depends on how I am feeling at the time and how far the receptical is as well as if it is at night and I'm alone. Usually I use them though.
