I always use the tooth brush with indicator, so when it almost broken I will change it immediately. It's normally around 1 month old. However I notice my brother always replace his tooth brush every month, even his tooth brush condition still ok.How about you?How long you replace your tooth brush and what is the reason?

I usually replace my toothbrush when it starts to shred. Like the bristles start to stick out randomly.

Me Too, I think my toothbrush is almost one year old and I'm still using it. LOL Maybe if half of the bristles are gone I'd change it.

I think that toothbrushes with indicators are a lot of fun! But the real indicator for me is being able to feel the bristles clean my teeth gums. Usually, I change my toothbrush every three months. I've been doing this for hygienic reasons. Bacteria can accumulate on your toothbrush. Bacteria and hygiene aside, my toothbrushes remain fresh :)

I just do as your brother does i change my tooth brush around a month even if the condition is good the reason is the brush hairs become loosened and it is very uncomfortable to put that in mouth.. so i basically change my tooth brush on month's basis.

I always got complaint from my mom, because she is the one who take care of my tooth brush and other paraphernalia stuff. The brushes I usually had it replaced every month too, because I brush my teeth too hard, and the feather things kind of wilted at some point, and lost its quality to clean the junk between the teeth. So, that is the reason I replace it almost every month.

Every time I got to the dentist to get a cleaning I get a new toothbrush, I should probably change it at that time but I switch them up whenever my toothbrush looks old. now that you mention it, it's probably about time that I use the new one. I've been using it maybe for a year or so. they hold up well, I might as well switch it cause I just got a new one from my teeth cleaning.

I usually change my tooth brush once every two to three months.Sometimes it also depends on the bristles, especially when it started to stick out like a broom. It is really hard to brush our teeth when the bristles gone that way. That's why, it is really important to choose the kind of tooth brush that suits your teeth best. i prefer to use soft bristles type, since it don't hurt my gum.

Hi Omchesunche, that really depends on the quality of the toothbrushes. Some hotels provide toothbrush with a small tube of toothpaste. Those toothbrushes cannot even survive a month. A week is the maximum time I will use it. However, certain toothbrushes are very durable. I can use it for three months, and it is still in good condition.

I change my toothbrush once in two months. Also, I use toothbrushes that have indicator bristles, colored bristles that fade when it's time for replacement. Oh, I also change toothbrushes after having a disease. Even if I recently changed my toothbrush, I would replace it after having a flu or cough. I wouldn't want my brush becoming a virus carrier!

According to my Dentist the favorable replacing a toothbrush is done every three months. But it depends on the person if they follow their Dentist advice. But however if you able to afford to buy a toothbrush every month that will be nice. You can really lessen and eliminate bad bacteria that are stayed on the brush.

Basically, I use my toothbrush to approximately three months. I replace my toothbrush whenever I see its bristles to be unusable anymore. For instance, when majority of the bristles are already slanting and the color has changed into something yellowish, then definitely I change my toothbrush as soon as possible.

I only judge replacement visually. If I think it can still do its job of cleaning my teeth then there is no need of replacing it. It really depends on how hard you brush your teeth and the quality of tootbrush you brought. Some rule of thumb is to replace it every six months.
