How do you feel about internet dating?

Have any of you found love on the internet? Are you for it or against it? I have met a few people from the internet in the past and it wasn't so bad. In life we take chances and that was the chance I took. Im not in contact with those people now, I guess we just lost touch but it was pretty cool. I believe that love and companionship comes in many different forms and it is up to that person if they're going to take that chance to see if it may lead to something more special. What is your experience with meeting people online?

I found the love of my life on the Internet. Even if I hadn't it was the best year of my life. I met a lot of men online and enough locally that I had dates 3 times a week for almost a year. Some men I dated for months others it was a one time thing but, it was well worth doing. I think the important thing is to not go into Internet dating looking for "the one" but rather as a way to meet new people who share some of your interest.

That's great....! Whenever I go online for something like that I go in looking for nothing more than a good conversation. I've come across a few weird ones thru chat but quickly stopped the conversation. Its been a cool experience meeting different people online and the three of my experiences in the past have led to relationships over time. One of which was recent. The man that's in my life now is wonderful and I didn't expect things to go anywhere with us. I was fine with just having conversations with him but he ended up falling for me. Im glad he did cause I probably would've never made the first move...lol. Now I did development feelings for him but because he was hours away, I kinda just kept it to myself. But we're happier than ever

if my current relationship will end in a Break up, I might consider finding my luck in the Internet but I will only try to build relationships with Women who are willing to show their faces to me because I also Show my face To them too.It is a huge risk To build a relationship with a complete stranger from another side of the world but it will be worth it. I used to date a woman outside my race and it's the best relationship I've ever had. So here I want to have a relationship with someone from the other side of the world.

I agree that it could be risky. I didn't mean establishing a relationship with someone across the country. Just chatting with someone within another state...I've talked to someone in another state and don't find anything wrong with communicating with that person. But across the world...no im not too sure about that one. That would be kind of weird.

Internet dating is a very risky way to find someone in terms of relationship.But I heard a lot of stories that there are also lucky in finding their lifetime partner online.For me you must know the person first and don't be easily believe to all what he/she trying to tell you online unless you saw it personally.
