I always think why these open minded people face bad image upon them. This is the reason I got recently that from my experience is that everyone dont like to be open and they always hide everything from others. I also face this . Once my friend told me that I am very nice person and everyone should like me for my open mind set. But once when we are celeberating party, my friend in drunken state said that he didn't like my open mind set and also said never be like that . I asked why he replied that because of my open mindset he faced problem in his house. I said to his father once that we used to drink on occassions. For that his father scolded him and not giving him pocket money. So I realize that one should not tell everything open. Some times we should behave according to situations.

There is a difference in open mindedness and outspokenness. Open mind is where you are able to see two sides of a situation, and give credibility to both sides until proven otherwise. Outspokenness is where you speak without thinking. Where you do not consider other peoples feelings in a given situation. There is a time and place for outspokenness. Having said this, both qualities are good, the latter only once tamed.

not really, it is just an open minded people admit the bad thing as bad and vice versa. in the other hand, close minded people often prefer to lie to them-self about the real situation and see everything just the way hey want to

Ope minded people provide a challenge. That is why they are hated. :) Easy.
