Payout

I earned the minimum shortly after June 1st, so I was under the (I guess?) mistaken belief that the next payout was June 15th, not July 15th? Now that I think about it, I'll just hang on for a HUGE payout next time. Just was kinda expecting this one, especially seeing as it's been over 2 years since I've received one! What's the longest that you've gone without payout? I used to receive them every month back in 2007-2008, so waiting over two years is WAY too long...

oh you earned so quickly! I have only earned $2 since I have been a member here one week ago. Sometimes I don't quite understand why you guys earn that quick. I should post more frequently lol.

Well, Porkchop, it took me over 2 1/2 YEARS to earn those $10. If your earnings are already $2 in a week, you'll be reaching payout in no time. I didn't earn it this month, so I've got to wait a bit more.

Hi Porkchopchop and welcome to myLot! You are doing fine and well on your way to getting there for this month - great going! To boost your eanings even more, come back and comment and further the topic whenever you get the chance as that is where the eanrings are. MyLot is a discussion site and the more we discuss, stands to reason that the sooner we will earn

Ajay-- If you signed up two and a half years ago, like Mike suggested, you need to participate more. I'd suggest rereading the FAQs as a lot has changed. I know this for sure: single word responses won't earn you credit for a response OR money.

I usually make payout (and more) each month, with my own participation. I have some referrals who add a bit to my earnings too but that must be extra on top of my own participation as slave labour went out decades ago Since I jined myLot I have had three major offline situations which stopped me being here and each time I missed payout for that particular month but the following one I managed to double it, so I can say that I do reach it every month regardless. That was the case last month. In April I was travelling back and forth and not able to be here as much as I usually am but in May I bumped it up to over twice the minimum. This month I shall be at payout already in a couple of days so I could go on vacation I guess But I won't, well, I can't is more realistic as I really would love one (and I deserve one too) but that is not possible yet.

How long have you been a member? I've been here off and on since 07, I believe. Might have been earlier--back then I was earning payout every month, usually earning more than $10. I've had a series of reasons to keep me offline for extended periods since the middle of 08--5 residence changes, several times NOT having online access, and a hospitalization. I've been back, off and on for the last six months but often am limited to posting with my phone. That alone keeps me from posting long, detailed responses. Thanks for responding!

I earn monthly and way over the minimum. I have more time to be here then some. Yeah two years would be way too long as I know many that do not have a great deal of time and are able to do so every two months. As many taught me when I came here is that further the discussions and joining in on the fun, certainly allows the earns to flow in.

Congratulations! I slowed down after I had been hospitalized for complications due to my multiple sclerosis and couldn't use three fingers on my right hand properly to type (I'm right-handed). I also started a job Monday through Friday, and could only really post Saturdays and Sundays. Then I moved and I guess I forgot about it. One day, I got a notification regarding a discussion I was part of and now I try to post from the digest every day (or at least five times a week). It gets hard to search on my phone, so if I have my laptop (like now), I might search for something. I usually respond--this is one of a few discussions that I started over the last year or so.

I am sorry you had hand surgery and hope it has healed nicely. I barely ever start discussions, but thought I let you know that since your time is limited just do what you can in myLot. If you start discussions, don't worry about the comments until you get back because you know it is never too late to comment. Then if you do not feel like starting discussions and or are limited with time, simply respond to others. Just do what feels right for you and all will be fine. I think in all my participation, I have have perhaps 70 started discussions, I think, lol Good luck and hope you have a great week.

Yeah a little bit long before you cash out again.. actually in my case for 9 months here 3 times cash out meaning reach the payment amount.. May be because I'm bit active in participation in discussion... see you around

Thank you for your response. I'm trying to be a bit more active--trying to type a long response on my phone gets very tedious. Now that I have my laptop back again, I'm going to make it a point to post in more detail and more frequently--I know that will me gain more earnings. See you around!

I have not yet reached the mark that is 10 dollar. I have still very long way to go.

Seobuzz--be patient. It takes time and diligence to reach your minimum. Some people start out with a higher minimum but quickly realize that it's incredibly hard to reach it. You will eventually get there, just respond to as many discussions as you can. Good luck!

I haven't been on for along time probably about two years so if I make payout before July 1st it will be my first since then. I also use to get paid monthly when I posted everyday. I never really tried hard so usually I average 10 to 15 per month. As long as I made pay out I was happy.

You too? I stopped being online as much once I got a job (I was self-employed, and had more time to participate). I think that the rules were much different then, and it was a LOT easier for us to earn payouts in a month.

I had stopped using Mylot for a couple of years due to a decision I had taken to stay off internet for a while. Essentially, those were the times I did not get any earnings, and actually even lost the little amount I had already. My minimum payout is at 10, so I hope soon I will manage to reach it. I am working quite hard towards this target. Have a good day.

hi scorpiobabes I remember you from a few years back and you were more active then I believe. I have never missed a pay off but this year has been weird. I had several small stoppages healthwise and was down some but always made my 20 dollars then the day after Valentines day I had a bad fall on the tiled floor by the first floor elevato. broke my nose, blacked my eyes, and twisted my right knee so badly I was in the rehab hospital for 20o days. no computer no mylot I had just fifty cents over ten dollars so yeah I made the pay off then I got ack first of march and was trying hard to make up on mylotting and my roommate contracted shingles which is contagious. so out I went to another room and they refused to let me have my computer and monitor moved so 13 days more no computer no mylot so march got 16 dollars wow oh yipee usually I make twenty dollars a month but no only 16 now this last month only 18 so am hoping maybe I can finally get back tol 2o0 dollars like I used to do. no scorpio the payoff is always a month ahead of the momth we are finishing. anything in the next month wou ld go to July any thing made in june goes to July 15th only that made in May goes to June 15th.goes by 30 or 31 days

Tash, I think life has been getting in the way for many of us lately--I spend a lot of time cleaning the house in preparation to repaint it, and it's taking a lot of decluttering to clean it up. Hopefully soon I'll get over this hump and be able to post more frequently. At least I can take comfort in the fact that I'll definitely make payout next month!

Uhm... I don't quite understand... won't you get your payout on June 15th? Since you did reach the minimum before the end of May? I haven't reached minimum to receive my first payout yet. I was hoping I would get it this month but there was a problem with our phone line/internet near the end of May which prevented me from going online for about a week. I am hopeful, I will reach the minimum this month though, so I'm looking forward to next month.

I thought I had enough, but when I checked, I was about twenty cents short. No worries--I'm definitely on my way to earning a LOT more money next payout! Good luck in your goal!
