Have you ever seen a cashew in its shell?

I never have. I have seen all kinds of other nuts in their shells and buy them all the time but never have I seen a cashew in its shell. Has anyone seen one. I don't even know what the shell looks like.

I know what you mean I was just sitting looking at my nut mix and thought "I have never seen a cashew in its shell. Why is that?"

no i have never seen one in its shell, i believe though the cashew itself grows on the outside of the fruit. i could be wrong but i think i saw that somewhere.

Cashew in Kernel - Cashew
Hey, now that you mention it, I have never seen one in its shell either. Now I will have to do a search to see what it looks like. Found one! It looks like a slug!

yes i have seen cashews in its shell the shell is brown and it shapes somewhat like the letter C
