Maybe it's normal for the children to have lice in their heads. But sometimes or mostly it will transfer to another's head if you are not careful. It will bother the child's concentration specially when they are in the class. What can you suggest a good treatment of lice? Happy mylotting

Hi! That's a common problem here during summer when the weather is really hot. I've experienced that, too when I was a kid and it was really hell-a-lot of itchy. There was this shampoo that used to treat lice but I can't remember its name anymore. It's not in the market anymore. But what the oldies do is manually remove the lice by inspecting the hair and head of the children. There is also this very fine comb called "suyod" which is used by continuously combing the hair and the lice would fall off one by one. They will be collected in a white paper and killed. But I guess the best remedy is still keeping the head and hair clean and free of sweat so the lice will not thrive on it.

I;m not sure though if you would still be able to find it in the market. It's been gone for a long time. But good luck anyways.

Oh really? I would check on that kind of shampoo and yes, you are right.. keeping the hair clean all the time can be the best remedy for lice. Good idea.

The stores have medicine/shampoo products to get rid of lice. I was horrified the first time my daughter came home from school with it. Apparently it is extremely catchy and you really need to deal with it right away. I still shiver thinking about it lol..yuck...

When summer vacation, my kid don't have lice but when classes started that's the time the lice will appear... maybe it comes from the other children or maybe from the heat of the sun. Lice shampoo is good I tried it already.

Oh for sure kids pick it up from other kids. Simple things like trying on someone's hat can pass it along. I don't think the sun causes it.

There are shampoos that can get rid of lice. I remembered when were little kids our mother will let us use coconut milk to our hair. Let the coconut milk heat a little bit in medium heat then put it on hair like hot oil treatment. Then, the lice and nits will slide and not stay on the hair anymore. Try it.

Well, coconut milk can be good too and it's cheaper than buying shampoo. If you are surrounded with coconut trees, that would be a good option.

My daughter has a very long hair,up to her knees and it's so hard when she catches lice from other people. So,i always check on her hair, besides she knows when she feels itchy, she then check on her hair by using the "lice comb" and when she sees one she asked me to check if there's eggs already. Then,i will took those eggs one by one (too tiring huh with that long long hair) Good thing she never had lice..so seldom and it happens when she sleeps with her niece who has lice. I also found out that GARD shampoo is really good for getting rid off lice. have a good day :)

hi, yes its true that lice can easily transfer to the hair from the carrier of it,and aside from that they can easily to multiply, and they are really destruction because they will itch our head,if the short tooth comb can remove them i think a person who have this lice need to use a shampoo for lice to remove it.
