I have followed this case since June of 2008. I am now watching the trial and it does not look good for the Defense. Needless to say I'm not surprised. I believe the State is doing a great job on showing that they believe Casey is the one who killed her child. I don't know how the defense is going to stick to their story that Caylee drown in the family pool. If that was the case then why have duck tape over her mouth and nose. Why didn't they call the police or 911. Plus there is so much evidence from the odor in the car to the decomposing strand of hair of the little girl in the trunk of the car. Anyway I would like to know if you are watching and your thoughts or comments concerning this trial.

Hi lelin! I am not following closely..I just can't bear it sometimes. I will tell you what I think about it though. Even if she did drown in the pool...one doesn't take their child, put them in a trunk, and throw them in the woods. I think the last time I saw they had narrowed the child's original location to being next to a playhouse and not the pool at all. Now I know that an autopsy can reveal water damage in the lungs..I haven't heard the results of that yet.

Hello lelin. I have also been keeping track of this trial. I felt Casey was guilty when they couldn't find the nanny at the time. The prosecution is doing a good job. I believe the defense will have a hard sell with their story that dad and brother had abused her. Same thing with the drowning story. Any normal person would call 911 right away on the chance there was still hope, instead of trying to hide the body. I do feel for her parents.

Exactly, the grandfather would have done everything in his power to help his granddaughter. Especially, after being a cop for so many years. I feel so bad for the parents and what they are going thru. It is a nightmare. I just hope they get justice for Caylee.

I missed it this morning. I've also been watching on "In Session". I just don't know what was going through this woman's mind that she could do something like that to any child, much less her own. When I heard that there was evidence that the little girl had duct tape placed around her head I just sat here in my living room and cried. How horrible. A child puts their trust in their parent. That trust should NEVER be broken.

I have also cried many a tears over this poor little girl. I don't know how the grandparents have gotten through the last three years. I know if anything was to happen to my granddaughter I would have lost my mind. Especially if my own daughter had something to do with it. Court will be coming back tomorrow at 1pm. There is no morning session.
