How do you feel about girls playing strenous sports, like soccer and the like?

I have played soccer when I was in high school and my first years in college. People saw me as a tomboy and treats me like a guy because of that. Students also feared us maybe because they see us as tough girls. How about you guys? What would your impression be?

hi, first, i am so sorry that i accidentally wrong replied to your question because the net fast is too slow tonight and the page make a mistake many times...well, to my point of view, this is determined by the personal preference, i don't think that it is not good that girls playing strenous sports, which may play more of boys, although i understand that situation when you playing soccer and is treated like a guy. furthermore, i will insist on doing things if i really like...and, wish you happy everyday...

hahaha.. most girls dont like it because it requires physical contact and i mean hard physical contact plus the running in a very hot field. but then again, it is enjoyable once you get the hang of it. i admit i got kind of addicted to it..

If a guy was a soccer player, I would just think they were a normal guy that plays soccer.

I wouldn't think of the girl as being tough but I would just think of her as being a normal girl that plays soccer too.

Really? I never viewed it like that. On the contrary, I find women engaged in strenuous sports appealing, especially those who play football :) Football was also my sport since I was in the primary grades. Even in college, we sometimes play mix-gender games. I mean, our team included women also :)

I don't know why but people in our school see it that way. :)

I think It's okay. Everyone is entitled to determine which one is best for himself. As long as it is right.
