Do you consider your boyfriend your bestfriend?

I have this friend in college, he is a guy and we are really close. We hang out at school, in the park, eat lunch together and even have a sleep over at my house.
Then this new guy comes and became my boyfriend. I like him and he likes me too. however, when we hang out with my friend, he gets angry although we are just friends.
My colleague told me that you cannot have a guy best friend when you already have a boyfiriend since your boyfriend should be your best friend.
What do you think about this?

so, do you mean if the best friend is someone you met before the boyfriend, you will stop hanging out with him?

i don't completely think so, but almost all my friends think that a girl won't have a best boy friend after she had a boyfriend, as i see it, if your boyfriend is certainly loves you very much, he should respect you and accepts your best friend, of course, you should also take into account more the feeling of your boyfriend when you staying with your best friend, after all, a boyfriend don not like own girlfriend and other boys becomes the best friend.

Yes, I understand what you mean. We did our separate ways with my best friend so things will not be complicated. But I sometimes miss my best friend.
