I mowed my lawn today

I threw on some well broke-in Levi's, a mock Nike turtle neck, and my construction boots. I threw on a Fleese Patagonia pull over as well, its kinda cold here. When I was done mowing I fertilized the lawn as well. Oh and my favorite baseball cap. So then I needed to pick up some things so I ran to the local Costco and Target here in my hood. While I was there I wondered if the people at these stores looked at my get up and wondered what kind of man I am? Weekend warrior? Typical guy doing his thing over the weekend? A guy that can't dress? Studmuffin?

You actually wondered what people were thinking about you? LOL Well, sounds to me as if you are a people watcher yourself. Do you look at people and wonder what they do? Where they are going? Why are they dressed a certain way? The only reason I say this is because I like to watch people. It is interesting to try to figure out a person by what they wear and the way they walk and talk. Some people do not realize they are people watchers. But by the way you talk about wondering what people thought of you...it seems as if you are.

I am a classic people watcher! Wow, you pegged me. The best place to people watch is airports. I love having to wait for flights or being delayed in a terminal. More time to check out all the people going here and there. Malls are good too. Love to people watch.

Your right, those are great places to people watch. But I also like to people watch in museums and restaurants. I went to the Smithsonian once...awesome place. But they have this area where people sit and since I had sprained my ankle on a run, I decided to have a sit to rest and people watch. There were so many different types of people there! Restaurants being another...who is enjoying their meal, who is enjoying their company, or how people eat. When my father passed away years ago and I was surrounded by my siblings that I didn't know and their families in a restaurant, I watched them. My brother Rick pointed out that I didn't talk much. My reply was along the line of, I talk but I also people watch. Watching you all is interesting. And then I preceeded to make comments about each person around this bug table. By the time I was done, everyone stopped talking and Rick broke the silent by saying that I had some interesting perception because I was very accurate. Glad to hear you know you are a people watcher! :) I think it is also more fun with a friend that is a people watcher too.
