me and my girlfriend wanted to have more money. we both work full time at the office. so secondary (part time) JOBS may not be an option. so we (she, actually) decided to be entrepreneurs!
at first, it was chocolates. then came shirts and silver jewelry. not the expensive ones. just items any average employee could afford.
right now, we are thinking of other novelties to purchase over the weekend so we have something new to trade off at the office next workweek.
at this point, i may need to ask for suggestions. some co-workers are already reselling coffee, biscuits, and other ordinary day-to-day necessities. and add a "tight" security when entering the company premises, so bulky items should be avoided.
could you suggest some other items, please...

I work in a company too and many of my officemates are selling goods/foods/stuffs. Some sneak through even though it's working hours. Yes, it's against the policy, to do unnecessary things while working and "using" the company time. It's okay, unless you get caught.
You can't blame them as they get veeeeeery sleepy sometimes. Well, I admit, me too, always gets sleepy. So, I just grab a coffee or chocolate at the nearest officemate selling those kinds.
Well, as for the suggestion, hmmmm, how about spend more time mlotting???

good idea..
unfortunately, though, i don't have internet access at the office. and besides, i would have to use company time to do that.
i guess this practice depends on the environment of the workplace. some co-workers could tolerate it, while some may be a little too strict about policies.
