My balance at Freelancer.com has become -5.00$. It was 0 initially. But I got a bid accepted. Will my account become canceled. If not then how many days I am allowed to keep this negative balance. Tell me the consequences if you know..

That's standard when you start using the site, if I remember correctly. There's an opening period where everyone has a negative balance but, as long as you remedy it within a month or so, they don't seem to mind. I think my -$5 sat there for even longer...!! Don't worry: they'll contact you if there's a problem and they want paying. They won't cancel your account, either: they might lock it temporarily until the balance is sorted, but that would be all - they don't want to lose a customer! And congratulations on getting a bid accepted!

Thanks..now I am feeling better. I was delighted to get my 1st bid approval. But, I was shocked to see my balance going negative. I have succeeded after trying 34 times.

Zoinks! The first one is always the hardest. Once you have some feedback, you'll find it gets easier to land the jobs!

In my case, I got - $10. At first , I accepted a job but later on it was declared that the employer has no sufficient funds so I undo my first action. Then I got negative. Then, one time I log in but couldn't avail to bid. Then I lost my interest to log in again.
