When I was a small child my father introduced me to music. My mother and father were divorced when i was just a bab ad I would see my father on the weekends. My moms side was my home a wonderful place.I would stay with my grandmother and watch her cook and she took care of me like a little doll. I would spend weekends with my dad and his mother my granmother. My father was a cool guy and always would take me such neat places for a kid.I learned alot about music from watching and listening to my fathers side of the family. They his sisters and brothers would always be listening to rock n roll and oldies. My father would take me to free concerts in te park in a big city. There I fell in love with a group called"The Rhythum and Blues Review" a cover band of "The Blues Brothers" I was so young and would danec in front of the stage that they would bring me up on stage to danve with them. They saw my passion. As a young girl I was picked on alot in school.I just never clicked with those other kids worried about boys and fashion.Music was my best friend.I would spend hours alone in the bathroom doors locked listening and singing in the mirror imagining I was those people and how amazing it would be to be so talented and loved by so many peopl for it. My first and really my true love was/is "Queen".Freddy Mercurys voice and the storys that were told in the song really stuck in the core of me.For a 12 year old in the early 90's to love Queen was really diff than those who loved Vanilla Ice... I am in my 30's now and I still have the same passion a I did when I was a child if not more.I have made demos and still dream of making my dreams of becoming a performer.I am working on it but sometime I think things happen when they are suppose to.I feel it in my gut.Have any of you had a dream that you are so passionate about it makes you cry tears of joy?well that is me.Music touches my soul since youth. To me that is a beautiful thing.I just hope I can live at least a little of it.Im trying but it can be hard.I dedicate this blog to all the people who had or have dreams.Never give up no matter your age.Look at Susan Boyle..Just one example. Thanks for listening.Nice to vent and ROCK ON!

Im not that passionate as you are about your dream but greatness lives within all of us.If you take the people on the planet who have achieved the most they have achieved a fraction of what each and everyone of us is capable of.Susan Boyle open her mouth and every doubter where silence.Once she led out the greatness that was within her everybody made fun of her before she did it but once she did it the entire world applauded.Never give up mate the entire world would applaud :)

Your father is indeed cool. This is becauuse he lets you realize a dream. I personally would like to be a writer and currently pursuing it. It is nice to know that there are also other people out there fighting for their dreams and not giving up. :)

You are in good company. Lady Gaga for instance gained a million points in my book when she said she pushes the style envelope to continue to send the message "its ok to be different". She too was picked on in school for following her own path. I think those kids feared those who had the guts to be their own person. I have many passions, horses primarily. I should have been born in Kentucky, not Minnesota!:)
