Travelling to Lleida (Spain) in two weeks!

Hello myLotters,
I am going to travel to Lleida on 1st of July! It will be my first travel abroad so I am very excited :) I live in Turkey and never been anywhere except Turkey up to now. I really want to see new places, far places especially.
It is a student exchange program so not a holiday. It will take 30 days. Pretty long for my first time, isn't it? :) I am sure a month full of fun is waiting for me :)
Anyway, I am writing this discussion in order to learn your experiences about Lleida as a tourist. Or if you are living there it would be great to learn about Lleida from you :) Places to see, activities to do, anything.
For those who doesn't know where it is, it's in the Catalonia region in Spain. It is at west of Barcelona. I hear that Barcelona is a beatiful city. People said I must visit Barcelona. Any experience about Barcelona would be appreciated too :)

I have been to a number of countries in Europe, but I have not been to Spain yet. In fact, I am looking forward to visit Spain in the near future. I have seen pictures of places in Barcelona. Yes, indeed, it is a beautiful city. Have a nice holiday. I am sure you will enjoy the trip !

I have traveled to Turkey and Spain but I haven't yet been to Barcelona. I have heard it is a very beautiful and interesting city. I hope that you will really enjoy your trip to sunny Spain. I went on a student exchange when I was a student at university. I went to the Netherlands and stayed in a student house. I had a bike whilst I was there and loved cycling around. I had lessons and went out to see students on teaching practice. I also had much free time. At half term I was able to have a 10 day trip to Luxembourg and Germany. Good luck with your time in Spain.

Thanks for telling about your past student exchange. They really made me feel more and more excited :) I have a bike now and I ride to school. I love cycling. I think I must get a bike there too. :)
Which city have you been in Spain? I am asking because maybe I have the chance to travel further then Barcelona.

I have never been anywhere outside of my country 
I like to travel though and while I cannot afford to go abroad yet, I try to visit interesting places in my country. Anyway, Spain must be really beautiful. I hope I will get the chance to see it someday. Again, congratulations and have fun!

I love Spain very much! and also i hope one day i could go there. And moreover,i love Barcelona also.The food there and also the architecture there also makes me feel excited. Anyway,i think you should go to some websites to see the guides or experiences that someone already give.Plus,you should also pay attention to the security problem,i think..Have a nice trip!!
