Myspace is so corny! I have a myspace page but I hardly every check it. I'm most likely going to delete my account because I am really over it. It's like a popularity contest to see who has the most friends. The people with tones of friends don't ever communicate with most of the people on their list. I don’t see the point in adding people if you are not going to communicate with them.
It can also be very immature as well. God forbid if you take someone off your top 8. That will start a chain reaction of silly comments about being removed from the top 8. The person who was removed from another persons top 8 then takes that person off their top 8 to get revenge. Who the heck cares if you are removed from someone’s top 8? I also noticed that no one likes to send private messages. My "friends" post the dumbest comments for everyone to read.
Finally, I don't like how people post all of their business out on myspace. You can easily find pictures, real names, where they work, where they hang out, what school they attend, etc. It's definitely not a good idea to do that considering all the crazy people that are out there.

There definitely are people like that on myspace. A lot of people. But it is also a good tool of communication with people whom you know but have parted ways with, or simply live far away from. Most of the people on my list are people who I actually know and have met, and many are really good friends and even family members. Either that or musicians. So I agree that myspace definitely has it's negatives, but there are positives as well.

I do like myspace. It helps me keep in touch with people back home and people I've met along my journey. i like it also for music. It helps me find new bands and old bands I'm already familiar with. I also do a bit of blogging there.

I like myspace, I have a page there but I don't stop by on a daily basis..
