Football is popular in RP. i see a lot of kids kick some Foot ball and having fun do it. i believe foot ball is in the blood of every Filipinos. The only problem is the lack of playing field and the dominance and influence of basketball. Then we add the lack of football superstars local and international in which basketball has especially if we talk about history of this 2 sports (Basketball is highly successful in the early years compared to football) and we have basketball over football. hopefully the tides will change since RP basketball team seems to lose its luster unlike the jaworski days.
