I think it's the perfect match: french fries are tasty, you could eat plenties of them and they're so much fun to eat. Also, they can get you pretty thirsty, so it might be a way to make you buy more drinks... who knows?

Hmm.. Well, it probably depends on the fast food restaurant you're referring to. I mean, the global burger chains partner it with fries probably because those fast food restaurants started in the US, and I think fries and burgers was the combination a lot of Americans prefer. Our local burger joint just imitated them. I don't think foreign fast food chains like McDonald's would go for sweet potato (camote) fries. Actually, even their potatoes are sourced from the US. They don't use locally grown potatoes. But I think there are value meals that have a burger and soda pairing only.

I think it is because fries are so popular. I love them. I like them better then when they give you potato chips on the side like panera does.

Some places actually allow you to choose your side. I know that most resturants allow to get a salad instead of fries. Wendy's has a choice of four sides and I usually pick the salad because it is healthier.

Well, the answer is pretty simple, this is the best combo you can ever have with a burger. This is mostly served at Mc D and KFC than any other restaurants. The wedges can be replaced but its the fries that have an edge over the wedges. It is because of the shape they are made. This are thin and long sized and melts in the mouth when you have it unlike the wedges where you have to chew for a while. Jai ho Fries........

Wow. This got me thinking. Well I am not really sure on the reason why this seems to be the perfect match for fast food these days. The only thing that I can about this is the result of this partnership. No wonder that a lot are becoming overweight and obese. These food is just too much for our body.

Because french fries are rich in proteins and are low in fats No but really, I just think that french fries is the fastest thing they could make.

Mainly because french fries are the most common among all fastfood restaurants to go with hamburgers. Although McDonald's and Jollibee offered their burgers with drinks only, it just does not have the same ring to it as having fries to go along.
