Oh I am with downgrading. I can tell that I have this skill of looking words at the dictionary fast and within seconds but with online dictionary, you just type the words and meaning will pop in your face. I love cooking and have the fun of grilling with live coals but with electric grilling,just put the chicken or pork on it,it will be grilled as if grill with live coals. I think technology make us lazy and stupid sometimes!

thats not a bad thing at all. when you have less work is in fact very good. Because you also dont say "i hate cars! i like to ride my bike but with cars its more fast and easy and it makes me lazy". you say "the cars are best thing ever" (you probably dont say that, but you get the idea xD). like already said, you have to controll the technology, not the contrary ;)

We are downgrading, that's for sure. With every new technologies that's available, we are losing basic skills to survive in this world. Start from the basic thing such as fans, not to mention air conditioner, all of us won't be able to sleep or take the heat because we are overly reliant on it. Next basic thing shall be cooking and fire. HOw many of us are able to start fires using charcoals and tweats?

The truth fact is that it has it merit and its demerit that is its good side and the bad side to it. Technology has help humanity achieve so much within a short period of time. We can travel to long distance place by high speed train,aircraft and cars. We can grow food with fertilizers and the crop will yield so much for us. We can use technology in industry to achieve task that it will take a company 50 workers to do, it can be done with one machine.
But the bad side of technology is that it has resulted in massive unemployment this is because industry that would have employed more labour will now use less labour due to the fact that machines can achieve this task.
