Should my referral link forward to mylot.com?

Okay, so if I put this in my address bar http://www.mylot.com/?ref=lilbabycatapillar
the link forwards to just mylot.com.
I've tried it when I've been logged out and it still does the same thing.
I'm worried because I have been posting my referral link around and I still have not gotten any yet.

Hello Lilbabycatapillar,
As you've been told previously, the referral link does work. You shouldn't worry about it, everybody uses the referral link and I haven't heared any complains that it didn't work.
Just try it with a friend of yours. Ask them to join myLot using this link and see if you can see them in your list of referrals here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/earnings_r.aspx

It really can take a long time to get referrals and for me I have not gotten any referrals. I have been on here for a really long time and it has not been my thing to get them I guess. So I post the link from time to time and leave it at that. It doesnt really matter to me.
