How do you actually tame a biting cat? I have a cat who loves to jump around the house. There was even a time that he broke a long vase when he saw the curtain moving and jumped on it and accidentally broke the vase. He jumped and bit on anything that moves. He even bit me when he saw me walking towards the kitchen.

A pleasant day to you Somethingbig, Wow, your cat seems to be very playful and jolly. However, you must tame your pet as early as possible before he gets old. Hence, as he get older, teeth will be coming sharp and if he will continue to be playful using his teeth, he might bite you with a little force. In addition, according to some research that I have read, kittens are becoming playful especially if they are teething (as their teeth continue to develop). Aside from that, they do become playful if you usually pick him up and put him at your lap and stroking your hands to their head down to their tail. One more thing, please do remember that, "cat bites and scratches can result in serious health problems" if your cat will do that often.

Hi, Yes you are definitely right. I always put him on my lap and poke him over his head and sometimes i poke him on the nose.
