I'm considering looking into freelance writing to earn some extra cash. Anyone have any idea how much you can earn on freelance sites?? Any information about freelancing would be great, I have no idea how they work or if it would be right for me. I've tried to research a little on the net, but I'm not sure how you get jobs, what you write about, how they pay, or how much they pay. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hmm, I am also look into those freelance sites too, because I want to earn some extra cash on my income. Sometimes, you have debts, a regular job and a part time job just might not be enough. An online plus some high paying freelance works might help a little on the side. Anyone knew?

I don't know if you are in the US or not. But associated content pays up front for articles if they like your work. Besides upfront pay you get residual pay from all your articles that you have written for them. It takes time to establish yourself but many people can support themselves with their freelancing.

Hi, I worked in a freelancing site for sometime. I wrote articles for two clients. And I got paid! The usual process of getting work in a freelancing site is by bidding. If you win then only you work. For starters, freelancing is a bit of test of patience. For the first job comes always a bit late! What you should do is sign up in freelancer, vworker, elance or any such reputed freelancing site. Then next thing is to build a online (preferably) portfolio. You enter your skills in the site. Then brows jobs. Bid on the jobs you like. Many of those jobs require samples of your previous work. Otherwise your bid is not considered. Since you are looking for writing jobs, it is advisable that you first post some articles in ezinearticles like article sites. That will be handy in giving samples while bidding. Hope I am of help. And, since you are in mylot, I presume you have a online account for recieving money, e.g. paypal account. This account will do your getting paid thing.
