Mylot - a great way to get referrals?

What do you think, mylot can be a place where you can find great referrals for your favorite earning sites? I was just wondering, as I have found a few referrals with the help of mylot, but still I cannot say that I am satisfied.
What is your point of view on this one? Have you had any experiences regarding this topic?

Hello Rappeter,
I thought getting referrals through myLot was a gold mine. But no. My experience tells that it isn't. I only have the luck to convince a girl to follow my earning sites. She joined each and every site from my list of banners. She was very active but I gave up on most of the sites so I can't benefit from this luck any more.
I think I should give up on all the banners from my profile because many myLotters (if not all of them) are already members of the sites I try to promote.
Have you had any referral through your myLot profile banners?

yes it sometimes gives referral to good earning sites. when you get any such referrals go to them it may help you earn more money.

Yes, indeed referrals boost one's income, but good referrals are very hard to find.

myLot certainly can be beneficial as many do sign up to learn earning opportunities. I have gained a few through myLot and my own profile banners but can't say it has been a huge one for me as many sites that I have been on have not been great earning avenues, therefore many have given up fairly quickly.
Which is okay with me, as I do like my profile so that I can keep most of my sites just as a place where I can go to, each time I need something from them.
Have you had luck with your referrals through yours?

Though I am still earning there with the very few articles I have on the site, I currently write for a private publisher every now and then and not able to add anymore writing sites. Hope all is well with you there.

I think it can be but the key is to come on here and discuss and share. That is the beauty of MyLot and there are many here who are willing to share their experiences about sites, earnings, life, family, the whole gamut. I think if you open your mind and really get into the discussions on the site, you will gain friends and referrals. If you are ONLY interested in making money here, you will be greatly disappointed. This is more of a relational/discussion based social site.

I am a member of this site for more than a year now, and I have been very active at the beginning. Then, because of my studies, I had to stop a bit, as I had to focus on my diploma work. Before that I have had many good friends here, but because I haven't got time, the connections got weaker. I like to talk with my friends here, but I also would like to make more money, because I need money to continue my studies and for other things as well. But I like to chat with people, because it is interesting to find out how others think and see the world.

Hi rappeter, actually, i never responce this similar topics before, but that certainly can earn some money to get referrals and i believe there are more sites like mylot place to make extra money...and have a nice time mylotting...

Yes, you are right, mylot can be a good source of money, but I would like to get active referrals for my other sites as well. Because of the rules here, it is very difficult to promote your earning opportunities.

I know that promoting here at mylot is not allowed, I have had some of my topics deleted for this. I think it is very difficult to get active referrals, because the majority of people want lots of money in no time, which is practically impossible.

As someone else mentioned, people who use MyLot are probably already members of many of these GPT sites. However it doesn't hurt to try. Who knows, maybe someone is on MyLot looking for other ways to earn extra money, and you just might be the one to snag them up so to speak :)

Probably you are right, but like you said, we may try. Every active referral we get is a boost of income, and that is what we want, more money from our programs. Of course, sites like mylot are made for socializing as well, but the majority of sites are purely for money making.
