Quit Smoking

My household (me, my husband, and my brother in law) is trying to quit smoking. Has anybody gone through this? Could you give me some good suggestions to help me along the way. This is going to be very hard for me because i sit at home all day. I am a stay at home mom.

You have to have the will power and want to quit in order for it to work..My dad has had his lung collapse twice and he still smokes..Quit smoking not only for Lil Dan but do it for yourselfs!! Love you guys!!!!!

I know i need to. All i do is sit here though. Play on the computer and smoke. Its gonna be hard for me.

I quit cold turkey about 7 or 8 years ago. You could try exercising - start walking or running and take the little ones with you in a jogging stroller or bikes or something. I hope you don't smoke around your children! Also, load up on sugarless gum.

very good luck to you all on giving up smoking, its needs to be your decision though, i have tried many times and i always start again, i hope you succeed :)

When I gave up smoking I found the key was to change the routine. I would smoke after a meal. Now I do chores that busy my hands I have taken up needlepoint. I used the gum - Nicobate, chewing gum, having something, in my mouth, helped too. I also took up walking.
