Mylot and earnings from it?

Unless I post, I earn nothing from mylot; only logging in does not generate any earning. This means no work, no pay. Am I right?

Definitely yes, we are paid here for our daily activities so no activity means no pay. But sometimes, I only log in just to take a look at discussions and when I feel like responding, I do some comments and posts. There are times that I have so many posts because I feel like talking and this is my therapy to throw away stress out of me. What a nice way to throw away stress, I am earning by doing so!

Sharing what's in your mind does get you relieved. Keeping something affects our spiritual and physical body. :)

Hi EdnaReyes and alphenor! :D I agree. Getting everything out is a great way to relieve stress and make you feel a bit better. :-) I think it is neat how MyLot can be like 'therapy" for some members. That's so good!

Hi DoctorDidi, Of course that's right! LOL :D MyLot pays you for your participation in discussions, which is adding quality content to the site!

Yeah you have to post and respond to other post to make money or do any of the other things that the others on here have said before me. The only way you can make money from not doing these things would be to have gotten people as referals and have them be super active so that you earn money from them. But your earnings will be less than if you where also active on top of your referals. So the best thing of all is to be active and you will hit your payout fairly consistently

You will only earn from your referrals if they are active. If they join and then don't participate in the discussions, you will earn nothing from them at all.

I want to know if the earning from the referral will be immediate after the joining of the new member or it will be effective after a certain period of activity of that member. Also to know whether the earning will be once only or persist through out the period of activity of that member.

If somebody joins under my referral, will I earn once only or so long as he is active as a member in mylot?

You are perfectly right! I type, I earn, YOU type, YOU earn and admin confirmed it here: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2544181.aspx?p=1#1_15008814

You always say "I type, I earn, YOU type, YOU earn" ... I like that. :-) Not only is it true, but it's very easy to remember. Hopefully, if you say it enough, people will get it! LOL Did you make that little saying up yourself? :D

I think in everything that we do to earn our income, we should put in our energy into it to produce the income. I think there is no free food in this world. We need to work hard in order to gain monetary value. Even in investment site, you will need to work hard by checking through many sources before you make any investment into it. Only by then, you are able to gain profit from it. Same for Mylot as well. Happy mylotting...

Exactly. I think you are not going to get paid anywhere if you don't do your job. Well, here is the same. If you want to get some money, you have to make good comments to the discussions or start your own ones. You can also get something using the search tool and in the task section. Other than that, no, you are not going to make money. Oh, and with the referrals. And they have to be active so you can earn from that.

Yups.. and I think it is a mutual benefit.. We give something to mylot by writing and mylot give us something else in return ^^

That means it is a 'give and take policy'.

In myLot, we will get the payment, if the conduct response activities, create discussions, upload pictures, or search on MyLot. Without doing anything we would not receive payment.

Correct my dear friend as what you need to remember here in myLot is that you type you earn. I type I earn. We do nothing we earn nothing at all. Always remember what I told you early on and that is when you start discussions and we respond we are typing so we earn for the responses and not you. When you comment back with quality comment to each responder then you are typing and hence you earn.

This matter has been discussed many times. We shall be paid only in whatever we write. I hope the following link can clear your doubt: http://www.mylot.com/nr/messagesview.aspx?id=855166 Besides, kindly be informed that the Rating in the Star will affect your earning too. With higher ranking or higher figure in the star, the rate you earn will be higer in your discussions or comments.

Yes, you should use this site for discussion and commenting to other's post which interests you also. You can also use the search engine every now and then to acquire rewards from mylot. Just keep going.

I agree with this: "Unless I post, I earn nothing from myLot." But not totally because you can do tasks and/or get rewards using myLot search engine. Truly, logging in doesn't earn you anything. I don't agree with this: "This means no work, no pay." Because I really don't consider posting, commenting and responding here in myLot as work. I hope you got my point! :)

But I think for doing any task on mylot or for using the mylot search engine, I have to write down something and it is also similar to posting to me.

Yes, you actually have to "work" to get paid on myLot. Most of the time, though, I find responding and posting in interesting discussion topics to be a reward in itself. I get to meet new people and learn more about them, debate current issues, and get in some cultural talk and silly stuff as well. By the end of the night, I really feel like I've learned a lot.

Someone needs to read the Guidelines here on Mylot! You should know by now how to make money om Mylot. If you can't figure it out, then you should not be here on Mylot.

Correct! At myLot you earn money for participating. Posting pictures, commenting on posts, having discussions, answering questions, etc. The important part is that you make high quality posts. Short little one-liners like "good luck with that" or "wow, sounds like fun" won't earn you much.

That's basically the point with MyLot, DD (I think). It's not like MyLot is obliged to pay us for doing nothing. This is not a job, after all.

Yes, you are right. We only get paid for our contribution but if you have referrals, you will also be paid a percentage of your referrals contribution. You can also add photos to your discussions, work on tasks and use the myLot search engines to boost your income.

Right, you must post. At least that I was told of.
