Flood by Falcon???

Wow, I am living in the business capital of the Philippines. The famous, city of Makati! Yeah, and it rained almost half of the day, and yeah we've got a flood here. I thought I could avoid the flood by riding a Jeepney, but I was wrong, flood spread through our place, and I'm just lucky to have a place just right I came down the jeepney. So it's not much exposure to the flood water. I am afraid to have some disease that could be transmitted through floodwater. I ran my way up and got a shower... Cleaned every skin that was touched by the flood water... Have you been in this situation? Trying to avoid something but still got no choice? hmmmm... What a way to end my day...

It's been raining here as well but glad that we're not flooded. I saw the news what's happening there and i get updated through twitter which areas are flooded. What you did was right, cleaning yourself thoroughly is very important when you're exposed to flood water. It can be deadly specially if there are rats around and they pee. It's more dangerous if you have an open wound and it's exposed to the flood water. There's no such thing as clean flood water. Glad to know you arrive safely in your home. Have a nice evening friend.

Don't worry, as long as you were able to clean it thoroughly! If you get sick in a couple of days just go to the doctor immediately ! Just kidding! Don't wanna scare you at all. Have a nice day my friend.

Yeah, thanks my friend. I really thank GOD for sparing me the experience of walking long through the floodwater. Right, that's what I am thinking the pee of those rats that causes a lot of troubles in a lot of filipino's health. I did have an opened wound on my foot. And that's why I am so afraid to step on the floodwater. I hope there's not much trouble on it though. I just deep on the floodwater quickly. hehe

I think we are at same location. Unfortunately for me I have to walk through the flood. It's really hard because the water is knee deep. But I'm still thankful because my room was not reached by the flood. Unlike my neighbor here, they are still cleaning their room because flood water reached it.

Ah maybe, I am on the 3rd floor and the water didn't reached the first story. It only made it's way on the ground or basement but not on occupied rooms and spaces.

Hello chuyins, Well, that's the usual procedure when hit by rain water and that is to take a bath to prevent colds. we all know that the drainage and sewage system in this part of the island isn't enough to contain the problem. not to mention garbage that are clogging the pipes because some are just undisciplined.be careful out there.

Ah yeah, the drainage is the main problem, it's not much of a heavy rain, we just have poor draining system here. Plus garbage everywhere. thanks.

Hi chuyins, Is it the first time it flooded in Makati or not? Well, yes as much as possible I'm trying to avoid flood water or canal water cuz am really allergic to those kind of waters. take note, am not rich but my skin is too sensitive. Before, I tried to play in the rain and ran into the canal water.. after it, I started to scratch my skin.. its pretty itchy and annoying.. After that I've learned my lesson!

I watched the news a while ago and it really struck me because there's water everywhere and it is really raining heavily. Here in our place, we do not have any typhoons but it sometimes we also experience flood. But not like what you have experience there. Be careful in walking through this water especially when you do have open wounds. Be sure to clean it and be safe.
