Today i got updated via twitter by the people who saw the tornado. It was scary according to them. They saw only black strong wind whirling around. A lot of trees and houses were damaged and as of the moment i am not yet aware how many casualties are there. It was far from where i am but when i checked twitter a few minutes ago, i was surprised to see that a tornado occurred also near my hometown. Such is not a usual occurrence in my country and thus we are not prepared for such. It might not be as dangerous as what happened in America a few months ago, nevertheless, it is a tornado. I can't imagine how i would be able to escape one if it suddenly appears where i live. Our houses don't have basements to hide into when tornado strikes.

we only have to do is evacuate. face teh problem by leaving the area. staying because of the tornado could give you into trouble. i believe that tornado may have been the eye of the storm.

The eye of the storm is similar to a tornado? It hit the town near mine at almost exactly the same time it hit new Manila. I'm from the visayas so I doubt it that it was an eye of the storm.

Oh my goodness, what is happening nowadays? I can only imagine how scary the situation must be for the people who faced it. Thankfully we don't have tornado here but what if it happens we don't have basements , most people here don't build basements. we would have nowhere to hide and save ourselves.

Believe it or not, the tornado occurred in FRONT of our house. Early this morning, my mother and aunt heard a loud, whistling sound but they took no notice. At around 12-1:00 pm, our fire alarm rang. It was unusual so my aunt and older brother went to see it. Suddenly, I felt a hot wind coming and then came the sound of the gust of the wind. It was really scary, I tell you. Because I was the only one left outside the house.

God it does sound scary. I hope everything is Ok in your country and hope no one got hurt. We don't have tornadoes here where I live and I'm thankful for that. Please take care and hoe everything will be alright.
