how often do you think should you buy clothes, so you would be updated with the fashion and still be in style? Especially for those of us who are always outside, we are often in the office, that is about 5 days a week... is it necessary to always update our clothes and buy something new at least once a month? what do you think?

No i don't believe once should always be updated with fashion and buy clothes just beacause they are in fashion. Me, personally, I buy clothes whenever I want to. And I don't follow the trends, I just buy whatever I like and think that looks good on me.

I think it would depend on the budget. As for me, I only buy clothes when it's necessary. I only buy when my clothes look already too old to wear. Good thing we don't have a dress code to follow in our company, I can wear shorts and t-shirts whenever I want. And it's also a good thing I am not too picky with clothes. Jeans and a t-shirt or blouse will do to me.

It is difficult when you have no uniform in an office. Specially, when the requirement is for Corporate attire, you will really have to buy clothes for that to abide. But buying wisely on clothes should be done whenever necessary only. Buy those with colors that you could mix & Match. Pants and skirts that you could mix & Match with blouses, t-shirts and blazers. You can also buy at least 5 types of blazers which you can wear over your T-shirt for a corporate look. Good thing , we have a uniform here at the office. Friday , being wash day, we get to wear our nice clothes. Half day of Saturday is still work, nut we are in our casual wear.

Well if your not the type who gets an itch every few weeks to go out and shop, I would say try to update your wardrobe every start of the season. It would give your wardrobe a fresh look. You could mix the old pieces with the new pieces and no one would be the better! Buying new pieces would also extend the wear of your clothes since they would be less exposed to the elements and to the washing machine.

I ask this question often too. A few weeks ago, I splurged on a few pieces of clothes for work. If I can get my sensible self's way, I wouldn't buy anything until 6 months has elapsed. haha. :) The thing is, I don't buy clothes based on fashion or season. I base it on whether or not I still have clothes that fit or aren't too worn out. When I find myself repeating outfits too soon, like just a week after, then it's time for new clothes.

Well it really depends on the person. When they get tired of their clothes and whatnot and when they feel that they need to update their wardrobe. I absolutely love clothes, so I probably can't even go a week or two without buying new ones! I usually go to the mall every week and just browse. I don't even have that much money, so I usually shop the sales.

My thinking may be conservative. In fact we use to buy two new shirts and one pant every diwali. We may buy three or four banians and underwears. That is all. But nowadays children I find they buy every month at least one set of dresses. The more money u receive the more u will spend. Buy to an extent u have at all times 7 sets of dresses for office and 3 sets of dresses usable in residence. that is all what is required.

You really need to have an allowance for your clothes and buy one every month if you already have started with enough to go on with your work. However,if you are just starting, your first income in much bigger amount must be allotted to it.

I guess we should only buy clothes if there are big sales in the department store if we have the extra money or if we are going to a very special occasion. Money is hard to earn today so we must spend it wisely. There are cheaper clothes in the market today that are also beautiful. Me, I am not after the brand name, as long as it is comfortable to me, I'll buy it.

I'm not really into fashion so i only buy clothes when either it's wear out, or when i can't fit into my clothes anymore. So i guess about twice a year. If your work in the fashion industry, then yes you need to update your clothes. But If you aren't then you don't have to keep updating your wardrobe as though your office has a best dress female staff award... But looking presentable is also important. So buy clothes that are more professional, but don't over do it.

As a practical resident of a third world country, I can only buy things particularly clothes whenever necessary and have an extra money. Aside from monetary concern, I'm also thinking where to put my old clothes if I buy new ones. One tip I got for you, is to buy clothes that can be paired with your old clothes to make it look like new though it's been long time your wearing it and don't buy clothes that are weird or unusual. Those are easily retained in memory of people you encounter. They would notice if you wear it more than once and that's not cool. :)

of course that depends how often you can afford to, how much you enjoy buying clothes, or when you need something new. but keeping up with fashions isn't important. you can be stylish without so much as thinking about what's in fashion.

I hardly ever buy any clothes for myself. I just don't often need to buy new clothes for myself. I have received some clothes as gifts over the last couple of months, but it wasn't a tone of clothes.

When i was still working in office before, i bought my office wear clothes once in two months. Each time, i will either bought one pair or even 2 pairs, according to my budget. I tried not to spend too much into buying clothes. Like, when in that month i need to buy a pair of shoes for office wear, i won't buy any clothes. Most of the old office wear, that i didn't wear, i will give some away to my relatives.

It's all about having extra money on my pocket, if I have then i will buy, so I don't have extra money for the next 6 months it's alright.lol! The most important thing I guess is to keep your old clothes always neat and presentable when facing anybody.

I often buy cloths if I have a lot of extra money. When I'm in my high school I'm planning to buy cloths every month but when I am now in college I can't execute my plan.It is because I'm short in my allowances and there are a lot of priorities to spent my money.Soon I can have a job I'll try to buy cloths as I planned in high school.I think its not necessary to buy cloths every month just to be in fashion every time.If you have a lot of money well it is OK but if not you must spent your money to your priorities or needs.
