I just read this thread "What's the worst thing about America?" ppppshhh! Holy Crap, people! You have darn near every bit of freedom that you want and you still want to slam your' own country!!??? So you don't like the President...well then, next time vote for someone you do like, but don't slam this country! If it's so bad for you here then move on. No one is stopping you! Let's see how much you like it somewhere else when you aren't entitled to so much freedom!

Exactly, don't like how it's run then either elect someone you like which means you do have to come out and vote or run yourself. Otherwise I'm sure there is a plane, train, boat or auto that will take you out of here to some other country. It really irritates me how some will lay into the president or any other elected official but then turn around and state they didn't vote. Well gee..then you have no right to complain. Unless you dragged your but out to the poles and let them know your opinion they can't respond to it. They aren't mind readers. They can only go by what the voters indicate; not what some psychic tells them half the population wants. Voting is more then a right it is a duty. You have an obligation to your country to let them know how you want things to be run. Until then learn to live with the decisions others make because they voted.

It's not only voting. People want to b*itch and moan about this law and that law and how the rights of the few seem to be more important than the rights of the many. Welll, you DO have a voice. Learn to use it! When people sit around and gripe rather than take action then how can they expect anything to change? If it doesn't sit well with you then do something about it. But America isn't nearly as bad as a lot of other places. Atleast here you do have the right to change things.

well, i love living in america, but freedom does come at some cost. i admit, the USA isn't perfect, but it is better then some other countries. i can probably point out a few laws that can lead to trouble and of course not all the people here are always in their right mind. but its still better then a 3rd world country, so i'm greatful
