Our proprietary earnings algorithm periodically recalculates all estimated daily earnings for the previous month to take into account posts that have been deleted in the abuse and moderation processes. During the recalculation of earnings some users with lower-quality contributions will see a decrease. Any money deducted from users due to our abuse and moderation processes is then reallocated to myLot users based on certain qualitative factors. Due to this, earnings will fluctuate. myLot members who have a decrease in earnings have had one or more posts deleted throughout the month. The main reason for this could be that you started a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms , that you responded to, or commented on, a discussion that violated our guidelines or terms , or that a comment you made on a blog article or news story violated our guidelines or terms . Please become familiar with our myLot Guidelines and Terms of Use to avoid the possibility of having your posts deleted in the abuse and moderation processes. myLot does not reward low-quality contributions, or even worse, attempts to game the earnings algorithm. hi lilbabyhcatapillar love that avatar somewhere in the mylot information it says that the earning s toward the end of the pay period will fluctuate a lot depending on whether you may have posted something they felt was not quality then you lose whatever they had paid you originally and that amt. is divided among other mylotters.so keep a watdh on the quality of your posts. sorry to hear you lost that much.did you get an email saying your responses had been deleted because they wereon some other's discussions that w ere deleted? well maybe they will add some more ten cents and you will be back u p there again.

Hi Lilbabycatapillar, so sorry to hear about your loss. It is likely that some posts are deleted or else mylot has recomputed the earnings. Having said that, losing forty cents is rather painful. Most of the times I earn just a miserable ten cents or twenty cents per day. It is very rare for me to have anything forty cents and above. But I do not check earnings every day, so if there is a deduction, I am not aware too.

If you are using Yahoo, you may not be receiving the deletion notices. I'm not! Yahoo hasn't worked correctly for several weeks now on some of its servers.

If MyLot is deleting your posts, your post count would go down. Since Yahoo is not working correctly, you probably haven't been getting deletions notices.

Hi there, I wonder if you did get a massive amount of deletions and the email alerts did not arrive. See for 3 days many have been missing and or email alerts. At first I thought that a great deal of my friends were offline and that is why I did not get alerts. But for 3 days now I have seen several discussions of members in which our Admin did respond to one of the discussions saying there was an issue with the server. Sorry to hear about the deduction and hope it all gets sorted out for you.

Do you log in here daily? Because i know if you didn't log in for some time (i guess 3 months, we loose our earnings).
