USA and Mexico, the two superpower of the North American, will face each other in the final of the Gold Cup.
I am rooting for Mexico to win it. How about you?

I expected the U.S. to win, even though based on their performances Mexico was better. I didn't know what was going to happen when the U.S. took the 2-0 lead, the game went back and forth. It was a very exciting game to watch, much more exciting than the previous gold cup games I had seen.

I am shocked at how USA gave away a 2 goal lead to then lose 4-2. Such is not the way of quality teams. I don't really watch such soccer as the quality compared to Europe and South America and even Africa is lacking. I mean what super stars come from Jamaica? But congrats to Mexico for winning.

I think the Americans have the physical approach to the games and the never die attitude and they can perform at the highest level we saw that in the confederations cup and the win over Spain. If they find that form then they have good chance of winning it.
Mexico however have been on fire two 5-0 victories in group stages and there fantastic run in this competition is second to none really is a team with a lot of skill and passing abilities they have a winning mentality and quite an appetite for goal especially with Hernandez who is looking to grabbed more and more goals. They are my favorites but anything can happen.
US players to watch- Dempsey,Donovan due to the fact that they can cause some damage if the US counter attack effectively. Also they have solid defense of Spector and Demerit both have experience in England and could potential hold off Hernandez's threat around the box.
Mexican players to watch- Hernandez is a goal machine and will be looking to add more to his tally of goals. Guardado has looked dangerous throughout and was a really good player. Barrera with his work ethic could potentially do some damage the young fiery midfield is everywhere on the park he is a great winger and box-to-box midfielder.
