According to the wise, the book is a window of science and knowledge. In the life of mankind, has been proven many of the life and events in the world wich was originally influenced or ispired by a book. So that's the importance of the influence and the role of the book. along with the development of time, now we know the internet has also provided a major influence on mankind, in all areas of life. Not to mention the presence of an electronic book via the internet. Do not we think, that someday there are no more conventional book but was replaced by electronic books. Moreover with the internet technology. Could it happen? Or more specifically, are we ready to face such a situation if there is?

I'm actually very worried about this. I love the convenience of a digital book, however nothing compares to the feel of holding an actual book. And I find that my eyes get sore reading the digital copy. While i think in schools it would be much easier, and cheaper, to fill libraries with digital copies and have an unlimited copy... I am the type of person who dreams of owning her own library, and I love the smell of books so I don't know what i'd do without the feel of holding one in my hand. I really hope they do not become obsolete.

Before moving to New York, I expected people to be reading from their electronic readers but I was wrong. I've only seen only half a dozen people reading from these gadgets and I've been here for a month. I know that it's possible for electronic books and electronic readers to replace paper books entirely, but I don't think it's happening in the very near future. EBooks are too expensive because prices for book royalties are different that on print. I guess this is because of copyright concerns for the electronic format. Other than this reason, there still are people who would rather read a book that that has pages that you can turn and touch. Surprisingly, a lot of young people think this way. I'm in no way against these electronic readers but I believe that it has only broadened people's choices in reading.

I have to vote for the electronic book as I am a big fan of technology. However, I do sometimes like to be reading a conventional book because it seems to be very personal. I do not think that paper books will be completely replaced because there will always be a fan base. I do however think that the older books might wind up in some sort of electronic archive.

I prefer conventional book than electronic book. I like the feeling when i am holding a book. My eye feel tire and i am not patient when i reading a ebook. However, i think it is totally possible that the electronic books will replace the conventional book as even for now, we also have use ebook.
