Hello everyone, I am so upset because it's been 4 days now and i am still having a migraine. I have taken pain reliever but the pain relieves me for about an hour and it's back again. What should i do, i have lots of things on my hands but i could not even start it because of so much pain.

Hi something, welcome to mylot. I have been there, and the worst when no medicine can make it go away. Just a quick suggestion here, not sure if you heard about a kind of massage on the muscle point between the thumb and the index finger. I tried this, and sometimes it helps. Hope you get better.

Hi there de_angel97, I do agree with what you have suggested. And that is what you called reflexes massage. As the nerve between these two fingers somehow connects and have a counterpart muscle inside the head. As you massage that part in between, it will release some unwanted air out and this will somehow make you burp. Thru this, a much comfortable feeling will possibly arise.

Hi Angelee_27 (214) Thanks a lot once again for redirecting me to the previous post about migraine. I tried that method and it worked instantly. I don't know how it happened but Professor2010 (6366) is right. This is really good news for me because i have this since college days and i can't remember how long i suffered from migraine. I told my friends about it and told them they should try it also.

I know migraine is very painful. Some of the people I know have been haing the problem. If I may suggest, here is one way which has been known to be very helpful in getting rid of the migraine problem. And, the way is practising "meditation". Have you ever tried meditation ? There are cases of people who were suffering from migraine for many years got relieved of it by practising meditation. I would like to suggest to you to try it too.

Migraines can be caused becaue of stress. I would suggest that you try to take a few hours to sleep in a dark and cool room, take an excedrin migraine if they are available in your country. This should help to ease your migraine, but if it does not you may want to go see your local doctor and ask them what they can do to help you or if they an refer you to a neurologist (provided you don't already have one) who can help you. Good Luck and I hope your headache eases off soon.

Thanks a lot for that. I tried sleeping for few hours hoping it would go away but it did not. I tried not to think about the pain and tried to shrug it off so that i can still do whatever i need to do within the day, like if i stay for hours on the computer the pain becomes unbearable. Will definitely see a doctor.

Ughh, story of my life I constantly get headaches You should see a doctor since it has not gone away yet, it could be more serious than you think. If tylenol/headache medicine is not doing anything and you still feel like it's more of a migraine than a headache, go see a doctor as soon as possible.

Since my college days this has been my biggest problem and surely it runs in the family since my brothers and sister have this too. I was thinking that it might be the climate change that causing it right now. We just hit by a big typhoon and it's raining hard for almost 4 days after that there goes the extreme heat from the sun again. I will try to see a doctor.

I guess it's a little bit of everything including climate change.
