my baby just dont eat. i mean i have to be on my toes and after her life with what i want to feed her. i dont understand one thing that dont she feel hungry. she hardly asks by herself anything to eat. she is not into too much of physical activity so that can be one of the reasons but then she keeps on running all around the house from one room to another and all that type. but then hunger level is like ..... what , i cant say . i consulted the doctor, she said one should not give too much appitizers or medicine that effect the brain and brain says that you eat , thats not good. she says, let her eat what she wants to eat let her ask on her own. what she eat, more important is that she digests that. do you people also faced such problems with your children?

I think almost all of the parents have had the same problem with their kids. I have two little boys and they each have their own eating habit. My 6 year old eats little at home but eats a lot at restaurants. My younger son eats a lot at home but only eats french fries at restaurants (we even have to takeout fries from McDonald's or Burger King if the restaurant doesn't serve fries.)

My disabled son is aged 4 years old. He is a very fussy eater. I was told to make eating fun. So therefore I cut toast into exciting shapes like a car, a star and a tree. I made fruit into lovely pictures like a face. My son doesn't seem to feel hungry either. I give my sons picture cards of meals and ask him to point to one. My daughter is aged 2 years old. She is a very good eater and she likes to eat a healthy diet. My young children both get plenty of vitamins in their soy drinks. Good luck.

Don't worry, my daughter was the same and now my son. My daughter didn't want to eat normally until she was 6 years old. Whatever I was doing the only thing she would want is rice and chicken. Can you imagine??!! But once she completed 6 she started to ask for food, to try different things and now everything is just fine. My son is also very picky at the moment but now I'm not worried anymore. May be he's not that hungry and also he likes sweets so may be this is also not letting him get very hungry. My advice to you is not to worry too much. Just ensure that you offer you baby different types of food all of the time and eventually she'll choose something. As long as she is healthy everything else will be ok.
