myLot star....What does it signify?

It's the stellar-shaped or the star with a number placed before our myLot name. I have seen it for quite a while but just totally ignore it, I'm still a neophyte here in myLot and doesn't really have the cognizance or any info of what it exactly means and what it stand for.
hope there'll be someone here who can explain..

The star shows how other Lotters have rated your posts.
It affects your earnings and therefore you should be aware of what it means and how you should be rating others.
