Have Grown Up Enough?

When can we say a person has already matured or still immature? They say if he's responsible and if he's capable of living on his own. There are some who are like that but hasn't established their own personality yet. People tend to be someone they are really not. In this discussion, can anyone give their own meaning of maturity? Can it be learned or developed whenever we want or time will just come and magically make us grow?

Hi Xsparky, This is one thing I learned and it has connection with the hierarchical relationship between the rich and the poor family, between the powerful and the powerless parents on how they breed their children/child. Thanks Dennis

Making decisions on your own and taking responsibility of it. That is mature. Self discipline and self-rule. Highly mature. Acknowledging that God is there for us. Beginning of Maturity.

Awesome! Well that sounds psychology-based definition of maturity. Lol! For me, hmmmm... I guess a person is matured when they think of the best of others before himself. Oh no.. wait a sec... I think that's what you call a hero. Haha! Add me up as friend! Welcome to mylot! ;)
