Brazil

The 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup started on Sunday on Germany. I know that a lot of people are not fan of women's football. To be honest, some women's matches are pretty boring, but World Cup is always a World Cup, so, I will definetly watch this tournament. I'll watch specially the Brazil's matches to see Marta playing. She is the best woman player of all time. So, anyone here is also watching the women's world cup? If yes, who you think is going to win?

Hi moneywinner, I didn't heard about this Women's World Cup in Germany but on Sunday casually I saw the match between Germany and Canada, but only the last ten minutes. The stadium was full of people and he was really beautiful. I can't say which team will be the winner -by football you can never know. If you know when play Brazil then give response. :)

I saw this game too, the stadium was really beautiful. That's one of the reasons why I love the World Cups - there are people from every place of the world on the stadium, it's really nice to see they all together. It's pretty hard to say who's going to be the winner, but, I think that the favorites continues the same ones - Germany, Brazil and US. The first match of Brazil's team is going to be on Wednesday against Australia, I think the time is 10:15GMT, but don't know for sure if the time is correct.

The Women's World Cup ends on July, 17. There's some good teams playing, today I saw the match US vs North Korea. I have to say that I expected more of US team, but they are still playing a good football. Here in Brazil, the match is going to start 1:15PM.

With all the respect, I cannot consider women's football as football. I have seen some moments from the game Germany-Canada, and it seemed like another sport, something which only wants to look like football. So I cannot watch this so called sporting event, but I think that Germany will win the cup.

I'm sorry, but I still think that no matter which team is playing, these cannot be compared to men football. I prefer real football, not this kind of imitation. There are a few players in women football who can play well, but if you would put them among men, then they wouldn't do anything. I cannot consider women football as a sport, but only a marketing strategy.

I think women's football it's a lot different of the men's football. To be honestly, most of the times, I don't like to see the matches either. Specially, when is a match between nations without tradition on football. But the matches involving Germany, US and Brazil, I think it's nice to watch, because on these games, definetly is going to have some action and good plays.

Actually I am interested in Fifa World Cup for men rather than women. I don't really know why. Even if our men are not good at playing football since they don't have a good achievement. But I still like to watch other football plays who come from other countries. The Women's World Cup is still not so popular. I love China

I prefer to watch the Men's World Cup too, it's a lot more nicer. And that is an event that stops the world when it happens. A lot of people even know that is happening the Women's World Cup, maybe one day, this event gets to be more popular around the world.

I am not paying too much attention to this tournament but I feel Germany on home soil will clinch the tournament. They are a solid team, play well and home ground advantage is never anything to take for granted.

Germany always have a solid team and fight for the first places. Germany is definitely one of my favorites to win this World Cup.

I will likely watch some of the U.S. games, I will definitely watch some of the knockout games and the final. It is interesting to see how they play and what kind of skills they have.

Me too. On the group stage, I'm only watching Brazil's matches and, sometimes, US and Germany matches. But, after the group stage, I'll definitely will start to watch all the games. Sometimes, I stay surprised with the skills that some women's have playing football.
