Kraft Dinner: Is it getting sweet or is it just me?

Our family loves Kraft Dinner, and we have it once a week. I had a small amount plus a big garden veggie salad with herbs and cheese with my meal. Anyway, today I ate a little Kraft Dinner and noticed it had a sweet taste to it. I asked Hubby about it and he said it tasted normal to him. I was used to the nice, cheesy, salty taste but this time it was so sweet that I was glad I didn't have much for myself. Yuck! I don't think I can handle eating Kraft Dinner anymore :-(
How about you guys, especially those of you in Canada/USA where the product is sold. Are the newer packages more sweeter and less saltier, or would it be due to my taste buds?

I really think it has to do with your sugarless taste bud changes. See I so love cheese with just about anything. But for me Mac and Cheese seems to be saltier. Though my boyfriend says it is not I somehow find it to be so.

Well, Kraft Dinner's not good for us anyway, so I really don't mind putting it out of my own diet.

As you are not eating as much sugar as before, probably your taste buds have changed. My mom has diabetes and she should not eat sugar. Once in a while she cheats on the diet with icecream but now she says it´s too sweet for her
.
I don´t mind her having a bit of icecream once in a while although my brother won´t let her have it. She is 87 years old, sound of mind and quality of life is more important than a couple of more days.

Aww, I'm glad you let your mother enjoy herself, I defintiely agree that a good quality of life is much better than a quantity of life. I know that diabetics, depending on their individual situations, are allowed certain amount of sweets. :-)
