I can't download, it says something like "The security settings do now allow this." This account is limited and I can't figure out how to get to the administrator account so I can download firefox, anyone help me! Please, I really really need firefox instead of this crappy IE.
Thanks so much!
Please walk me through the steps!
Are you having trouble downloading stuff, or did you?
What did you do?

It depends who has given you a limited account. If it is your own PC, there must be an account on it which has full rights. Log into that account, if you can, and install Firefox from there (it will be available to all the accounts on the PC).
If you can't log into the admin account because it asks for the password, try to find whoever it was set up the PC and ask them for the password. If that person is long gone and that is not possible, there are utilities available which will either recover or delete forgotten passwords, though they are not always particularly easy to use for those unfamiliar with Linux command screens!
If it's a networked PC at work and you are logging into a server, you will need to contact the Network Admin or your PC Support person.

I can't log in to any account that has full right! the only account on here is the main one and I can't even find the admin account which I know has to be on here. I know a bit about computer and have asked people to help me but they hadn't figured out why I can't find the admin account either.

It is normally impossible to accidentally remove ALL accounts with Admin rights, simply because to manage accounts you would have to have Admin rights and you can't remove the account you are logged into.
There ARE ways of disabling rights in Windows so that a PC can't be modified by the user (and I believe that there are ways of hiding an Admin account, though I've never seen it done). Many company laptops, for example, are locked down in this way by the Systems Administrator and desktops can be similarly hamstrung. I am wondering if your PC was originally modified in this way for some reason. It is not the simplest thing to do, especially not accidentally, and even harder, of course, to undo without the proper tools.
I think that, probably, the most straightforward way of getting back full control of your PC would be to reformat the hard drive and to reinstall Windows from scratch. Do you have the original Windows installation disc?

okay let me reiterate, I can't do anything like that. I am using a computer that my uncle must have locked down before he went mental, and that's all I'll say on that subject. I just need to know if there's anyway to download firefox.

Yes you can,
Just reboot your computer and when you see first prompt just hit the button F1 it will take you into setup just choose to run window in safe mode it will run window without in safe mode. Now you can download direct in safe mode or you can go to control panel and than users account after opening user account just select the account which you want to control even administrator. Just delete the previous password and leave it blank. Than reboot and start it with normal window and you are ready to download anything.
I hope it will work for you. Cheers

I understand your frustration that's so lame that at work you can't install anything and update programs because it's a trend that software updates come out almost every day now. Than you're stuck with slow unupdated pc and end up spending more time and work less which is bad for company. But no they have to pay some lazy as* admin to f*** everything up instead of what he promised. Don't understand what's so attractive about limiting users on pc. Go to your admin and ask if he can remove restrictions for you. I see how IE isn't your first choice especially if you have older versions. Good luck
