In 2009 Wimbledon the forecast was for heavy showers. Temperatures hit a maximum of 31 degrees for the rest pof te UK and this was reported as the hottest day of the year. There has been a cold start outside this morning (27th June 2011) although this wis due to pick up with temperatures of less high than the previous day. Highs of 22 degrees c have been present for Wimbledon this year.
