University Student Fees

I appologive firstly that I was unable add this particular subject to my profile. All I could find was 'I am a student' which is no longer the case, as I work in Education but do not study it any longer. In 2010, the number of applicants for jobs was reported as 83 applications per job, and appicants from students with 2.1 or higher results from their studies weree favoured. In 2009 there were 49 applants per job and people were finding it very difficult to get interviews and a foot in the door at this stage. In 2008 the affects on career prospects was high but careers advisors were looking at fees and debt and regarding education as a fantastic backgrounding, while looking for high caliber graduates. One student reported on the news (June 27th 2011) that he was very happy with his 4 year qualificatipon in geography andd he would'nt change this. He was looking forward to pursing a career path and had been in Edinburgh for 4 years.
