I just got finished watching Memento, Got into a car accident so while I was in the hospital the only thing to do was watch TV, So I brought my laptop.
I always heard great things about Memento so I finally watched it and all I can say is WOW. For you guys n gals who dont know anything about Memento it was directed by Chris Nolan who directed Inception and The Dark Knight just to name a few of his greats.
I don't want to give the plot away, but the movie basically plays backwards which absolutely works for this type of movie. The viewer knows what the main character Leonard had done but we have no idea why he did, The only thing we know is what we see for the first 20 seconds of the movie .
The Movie is about Leonard Shelby supposably an ex-insurance salesman, One Day he gets a call regarding a big claim. The Claim has to do with a car accident the couple had one night one, and in the accident the man hit his head causing him permanent short term memory lose. Basically, The Man Remembers EVERYTHING UP UNTIL THE ACCIDENT BUT AFTER THAT HE CANT REMEMBER ANYTHING FOR MORE THEN A COUPLE MINUTES AT.
This is where the story really really gets interesting and I wont give out any spoilers, I watched it on you-tube and I know it is still on there if you want to watch it. I suggest getting the DVD because it has loads upon loads of extra information.
The Movie Memento was written by Christopher Nolan`s Brother, It was meant for a short story but being the Genius Chris Nolan is he was able to make it into an award winning movie.
I have yet to find anyone who hated the movie after watching it, Confused SURE But everyone I talked to really enjoyed it.
Another Great Feature on the DVD is the option to watch the entire movie in Chronological order which does help the viewer understand the movie better.
I give Memento a solid 5 out of 5. The Cast is pretty small the Brunette from the Matrix plays Natalie, Even Ralphie From the Sopranos is in the movie.
I would love to hear you guys opinion on the movie If you have seen it before!

I am that person who hated Memento. The film is sort of a ripoff of Harold Pinter's play Betrayal which is told backwards.
