why say happy holidays,..please say merry christmas

yes it is the holiday season,... but i rather people come up to me and say merry xmas,.... none of this political correct stuff,....i live in america and we say merry christmas,..not happy holidays,.....

if you say happy holidays then that covers honica, thanksgving, christmas, newyears. I also live in america and i DO say Happy Holidays. I don't want to affend anyone for impressing my religion on to them. It covers it all and you shouldn''t be affending anyone due to their religion that way. so Happy Holidays but as you have said Merry Christmas.

I honestly think some people say happy holidays when they dont celebrate christmas because not everyone does celebrate christmas!
