Sharapova through to the finals after a scrappy game of tennis!

Maria Sharapova has triumphed over German newcomer Lusicki, winning 6-4 6-3. Neither of the two players played a good game, however, and it was a disappointing match to watch. Sharapova made an almost unheard of number of double faults (14), and Lusicki's legendary serve failed her when she needed it most. Sharapova is probably now the favourite to win - how do you feel about the Ladies' final and Sharapova's game today?

I hope Maria can get her serve together and play a good match. I want her to win but I would really like her to do it by playing well rather than just not playing as bad as her opponent.

I'm really surprised with the players that made the semifinals. I think the level of women's tennis players is so low right now that we never know who going to win the tournaments. I seriously hope that Serena Williams recover herself because she, her sister and Kim Clijsters, are the only truly good tennis players currently active.

I really do not think that she would mind it that she managed to scrape through. I think after the injury woes she has gone through, she would really be delighted to make the finals. I think she does have a great chance to win the Wimbledon. The opponent in the final is another new comer, so it should really be interesting. Cheers! Ram
